BIG NEWS: The Tahoe House Goes Dog Friendly!

Hey there, paw-rents!

We’ve got some exciting news to share: The Tahoe House is now officially DOG FRIENDLY! 🐾 Picture this: you and your furry friend lounging in a cozy cabin, tucked away in the mountains in Lake Tahoe, surrounded by all the amenities you could dream of.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting Melanie and her Mini Australian Labradoodle, Ruby (@hellorubydoodle on Instagram), who gave us the scoop on how to create the ultimate dog-friendly vacation experience. Thanks to their input, we’ve rolled out the red carpet (or should we say, green grass?) for pups and their paw-rents alike.

Let’s dive into what makes The Tahoe House the perfect spot for you and your four-legged companion. First off, we’re thrilled to welcome up to two doggos per reservation! 🐶🐶 Just be sure to let us know in advance, pay our Pet Fee and sign our Pet Addendum, and you’re good to go. Sorry, no room for any other pals without a bark of approval first!

Now, onto the juicy stuff – the amenities! We’ve pulled out all the stops to ensure your pup feels right at home. From a doggy welcome gift to high-quality washable beds and couch covers from Molly Mutt, to a fully gated back patio, we’ve thought of everything. Plus, we’ve got YETI dog bowls, paw wipes, poop bags, cleaning supplies and even cabin-themed stuffed toys for playtime. Your pup’s comfort and enjoyment are our top priorities!

Of course, every stay comes with a few ground rules – pun intended! 🐾 Stick with your pet like peanut butter on toast, and never leave them unattended at the property. Clean-up duty is a must, so scoop that poop pronto and keep those paws clean with our provided wipes and towels. And while snuggles are encouraged, let’s keep things fur-proof with our cozy dog bed and couch cover.

We’re all about responsible pet ownership here at The Tahoe House. That means keeping those barks at bay and promptly reporting any accidental damage. And for the safety of all our guests, we recommend keeping your pup leashed when exploring outside the fenced area.
